he New Patriotic Party (NPP) has opened an application portal for prospective parliamentary candidates seeking to contest its primaries ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The application window, which runs until November 10, 2026, allows interested aspirants to formally declare their intention to contest the party’s parliamentary primaries.
The party has set the application fee at GH¢5,000.
In an announcement on Sunday, the NPP said the exercise forms part of its preparations to select parliamentary candidates to represent the party in the 2028 general elections.
The process is being conducted under the party’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidates (PPC) framework.
The party has urged interested aspirants to take advantage of the 10-day application window to formally begin the process of seeking its parliamentary ticket for the next elections.
