I Will Embark On Unannounced Visits To Health Centres Across Ghana To Monitor Operations – Health Minister

The Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has announced that he will from today begin unannounced visits to health facilities across the country.

According to the Minister, the move is aimed at monitoring operations and service delivery in health centres to ensure efficiency and improved healthcare for Ghanaians.

“From today onwards, I will embark on unannounced visits to health centres across Ghana to monitor their operations and service delivery,” Hon. Akandoh stated.

The Juaboso MP made this known while addressing stakeholders at a health sector engagement. He emphasized that his ministry is committed to strengthening accountability and ensuring that health workers deliver quality services to patients.

Hon. Akandoh noted that the unannounced visits will help government have first-hand information about the challenges facing health facilities, including staffing, infrastructure, and availability of essential drugs.

He further assured health workers of government’s support while warning that negligence and poor service delivery will not be tolerated.
