Forgive us if we offended you, help us reclaim power – NPP Chairman appeals to Constituents

The Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Prestea Huni-Valley, Dr Felix Kwame Quainoo, has appealed to Ghanaians to forgive the party for any mistakes made during its time in government and support its bid to return to power in the 2028 general elections.

Dr Quainoo, popularly known as Dr Acid, made the appeal on the Ogyeaman Morning Show, hosted by Nhyiraba Kofi Boakye (NKB), on Friday, October 30, 2026.

Speaking on the programme, he acknowledged that the party might have taken decisions during its administration that offended some of its members and constituents.

“As a party, we know we may have offended some of you while in power. We are under new leadership now. We are pleading that you forgive us and help us claim power again in 2028,” he stated.

According to him, the NPP, under its new leadership and flagbearer, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has learnt lessons from the past and is prepared to restore hope and promote inclusive development.

Dr Quainoo, who was recently endorsed as Vice Dean and Official Spokesperson of the NPP Constituency Chairmen Caucus in the Western Region, also called for unity and togetherness among party members in Prestea Huni-Valley.

He stressed that forgiveness, reconciliation and unity would be crucial to the party’s efforts to secure victory in the 2028 general elections.

He further assured residents that the party would prioritise their welfare and development needs if given another opportunity to govern the country.
