Former Member of Parliament for Prestea-Huni Valley, Barbara Oteng-Gyasi, has been appointed as a National Vice-Chairperson of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Her appointment adds her to the party’s national leadership at a time when the NPP continues to organise its structures and strengthen its leadership.
Ms Oteng-Gyasi previously served as the Member of Parliament for Prestea-Huni Valley in the Western Region, where she represented the constituency in Parliament.
Her new role is expected to involve working with the party’s national executives to support its administration, organisational activities and political engagements across the country.
The appointment also brings her back into focus within the party’s national political structure following her tenure as a legislator.
